
Mike Chapman

A public affairs consultant with high-level legislative and regulatory expertise, Mike
Chapman launched his career as a Legislative Assistant for the late Congressman J.J.
"Jake" Pickle of Texas, a prominent figure on the House Ways and Means Committee.
Following that, he became the inaugural Legislative Director for former U.S. Senator
Tim Johnson, maintaining a close professional partnership throughout Johnson's 28-
year tenure in both the U.S. House and Senate.
In addition to his professional background, Chapman has spent more than ten years
volunteering with Four Directions, working alongside Barb and OJ Semans Sr. He holds
a Master of Arts in Government from The Johns Hopkins University, where he
graduated Summa Cum Laude, and is an alumnus of Texas State University, where he
served two terms as student body president.
